The 3rd edition of BIOEXPO Warsaw

Between September 30 and October 2, 2021, a group of enthusiasts interested in the BIO sector will meet at PTAK Warsaw Expo to discuss trends in the food and organic products sector. BIOEXPO Warsaw is a typical industry event focused on business relations and active sales, which are the key force of fair trades.

BIOEXPO Warsaw is the only business event in Central and Eastern Europe entirely dedicated to the bio, eco and organic industries. During each edition, representatives of such sectors as: organic food and drinks, organic farming, organic cosmetics and cleaning products, production machines, packaging and serving dishes, household appliances, products for pets, as well as numerous start-ups, present their offer. ups and supporting institutions, including certification bodies.

The International Trade Fair of Food and Ecological Products at Ptak Warsaw Expo is a meeting place for leading manufacturers and distributors with buyers, owners of specialist stores as well as food and multi-branch wholesalers. The event is an excellent opportunity to establish and develop business contacts, as well as a platform for debate on the current condition of the industry and its development prospects. During the fair, visitors will be able to take advantage of unique offers prepared by exhibitors, expand their offer with new products and take part in the Congress, during which industry experts will share valuable knowledge and experience.

The BIOEXPO Congress is an event that will once again accompany the largest fair for the BIO industry in Poland. The aim of the Congress is to disseminate knowledge about the advantages of ecological products among many groups of recipients, incl. conventional farmers, food producers and processors, governmental and non-governmental institutions, opinion leaders and consumers. Thematic panels cover issues related to agriculture and organic food, natural and organic cosmetics and cleaning products. During their lectures, the speakers also raise the subject of health or threats that the consumer civilization brings to our planet, and many other problems. The congress will also include seminars for the industry, culinary demonstrations and workshops.

Every year, BIOEXPO Warsaw is accompanied by the Consumer Plebiscite for the BEST BIOEXPO Warsaw PRODUCT. The choice of products participating in the poll is very wide, which makes choosing a leader not an easy decision. All products participating in the plebiscite will be presented during the fair in the novelty zone and at the exhibitors’ stands, while those that receive the highest number of votes in given categories will be awarded with BIOEXPO Warsaw statuettes.

The previous edition of the International Food and Ecological Products Fair – realized during the pandemic and due to the resulting restrictions, was a huge success. During BIOEXPO Warsaw 2020, Ptak Warsaw Expo was visited by many enthusiasts of ecological products who had the opportunity to see the exhibitors’ record offer. The organizers arranged meetings for industry specialists, which are the foundation for establishing and maintaining business relations, which may result in long-term cooperation.

BIOEXPO Warsaw 2021 - They are already with us...

The third edition of BIOEXPO Warsaw will be held on September 30 – October 2, 2021. The fairs are already very popular, both from visitors and exhibitors. The list of companies that have already confirmed their presence at the International Food and Ecological Products Fair at Ptak Warsaw Expo is constantly growing and there are many indications that this year’s edition will be record-breaking in terms of the range of organic products available.

BIOEXPO Warsaw is a typical industry event focused on business relations and active sales, which are the key force of fair events. In 2020, despite the pandemic period, the event gathered many supporters of ecological and natural products, who had a unique opportunity to see the offer of as many as 230 companies in one place and time, displaying their flagship products and market novelties.

Currently, when the next, third edition of the International Food and Ecological Products Fair, there are more than six months left, already 130 exhibitors have confirmed their participation. The companies presenting their products and services include producers and distributors of respected brands and products, as well as representatives of institutions and units offering assistance and advisory services. During the next edition of the event, participants will have the opportunity to visit, among others, the stands of organizations supporting the event: Lidl Polska – the Main Partner of the fair and the Polish Chamber of Organic Food, which is a Strategic Partner. Summary of the 2nd edition of BIOEXPO Warsaw

On October 8-10, 2020, many enthusiasts of ecological products came to PTAK Warsaw Expo, despite the restrictions related to the pandemic. The second edition of BIOEXPO Warsaw was a unique opportunity for contracting, as well as learning about market trends and novelties.

BIOEXPO Warsaw 2020 was very popular from the very first day. In practice, it was the only event for the bio industry organized in 2020. The implementation of the BIOEXPO format event was quite a challenge, however, Ptak Warsaw Expo rose to the challenge and created excellent conditions that favored business talks and contracts. The International Food and Ecological Products Fair was a meeting place for leading producers and distributors of food and organic products with buyers, representatives of retail chains, owners of specialist stores and representatives of food and multi-branch wholesalers.

For three days, PTAK Warsaw Expo was the center of interest for enthusiasts operating in the BIO sector. During the fair, participants had the opportunity to see the wide range of food and ecological products presented by a record number of exhibitors. As many as 230 companies exhibited their products, including numerous novelties, such as recognized sales hits. The high attendance among visitors was conducive to active sales and creating space for sustaining and establishing new business relationships, which are a key element of the BIOEXPO format event.

An inseparable part of the fair are discussion panels, during which the most current topics for the industry are discussed. As part of the BIOEXPO Congress, numerous conferences and workshops were held, conducted by specialists related to the BIO sector. During their speeches, the speakers raised many problems that the bio industry has to grapple with in response to changes and market needs. During the conference, topics such as: post-covid reality in the context of business and effective sales and product promotion were discussed, and an attempt was made to answer the question – how to encourage customers to buy more often in the eco-shop. Changes in the legislation regarding organic farming were also discussed, as well as the presentation of the latest research on the BIO market.

As part of the event, a CONSUMER PLEBISCITE and voting for the BEST PRODUCT OF BIOEXPO Warsaw 2020 were organized. Voting was realized online and information about the Plebiscite was posted on bioexpo.pl. Among the products participating in the competition, there were numerous market premieres and bestsellers in their categories. All products participating in the plebiscite were presented during the fair in the novelty zone and at the exhibitors’ stands, while those that received the highest number of votes in given categories were awarded with BIOEXPO Warsaw statuettes.

The second edition of the International Food and Ecological Products Fair, despite the limitations related to the pandemic, was a huge success and in practice the only event for the BIO industry in 2020. The success of BIOEXPO Warsaw 2020 would not be possible without the involvement of partners, as well as exhibitors and visitors. The main partner of the fair was Lidl Polska, while the strategic partner – the Polish Chamber of Organic Food. The honorary patronage was taken by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development. The fair was supported by the IFOAM EU Group and a large group of industry and media partners.

PTAK Warsaw Expo proved that despite the pandemic period, it is able to organize the largest events, ensuring the comfort and safety of their participants. The huge exhibition area and the application of all GIS recommendations and guidelines regarding sanitary safety allowed the event to be successful, and most importantly – without compromising on quality.
